Harvard, Babson Top Entrepreneurship Rankings
Harvard University and Babson College topped a new listing of the best graduate schools for entrepreneurship studies.
The ranking was compiled by the Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. This is their 10th annual entrepreneurship survey, according to a press release from Princeton Review.
Harvard comes in at No. 1 on the graduate programs list for the second consecutive year. It’s followed by another Boston-area school, Babson, which is also ranked No. 1 for undergraduate entrepreneurship programs.
“The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur continue to identify Babson as a distinguished leader in entrepreneurship education,” college President Kerry Healey said in a press release from the school. “This recognition reflects the impact that the Babson community has in educating entrepreneurs of all kinds who create great economic and social value everywhere.”
Rounding out the top 5 for graduate-level entrepreneurship programs are the University of Chicago, the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and Northwestern University in Chicago.
Only schools that participate in The Princeton Review entrepreneurship program survey are considered for this ranking. It’s based on schools’ answers to questions about topics such as mentorship programs, school-sponsored business plan competitions and entrepreneurship by faculty, students and alumni. More than 300 schools offering entrepreneurship studies were surveyed between May 2015 and August 2015. Thirty-six of those schools are represented in the graduate and undergraduate rankings.
