York University’s Schulich School of Business invites future applicants to “Experience Schulich 2015” on Saturday, November 21st, 2015. The all-day event will start at 9:00 am and will last until 4:00 pm. The goal of the day is to introduce potential Schulich School applicants to the many and varied opportunities offered to students who get a graduate degree from Schulich.
According to the website, where you can register for the event, potential students who attend will:
- Learn how you’ll be able to internationalize your graduate experience at Schulich.
- Hear from successful Schulich alumni as they discuss their key career choices and what it means for you.
- Discover how to customize their Schulich MBA experience with cutting-edge curriculum
- Connect and network with the admissions team, alumni, and other potential students over lunch and during a closing reception.
- Tour the Schulich School of Business campus and take a look at the world-class facility available to students.
“Experience Schulich 2015” offers the opportunity for interested future students to attend mini lectures, hear a keynote address from Dean Dezsö Horváth, and join panel discussions with Schulich alumni. The overview of the full schedule is as follows:
- 9:00 am: The day begins with registration and student-led tours.
- 9 – 10:00 am: In the CIBC Marketplace a networking breakfast will be held with the admissions team and GMAT prep representatives.
- 10 – 10:15 am: Within the Robert McEwen Auditorium, opening remarks will be given by Marcia Annisette, the Executive Director of Student Services and International Relations, as well as Markus Biehl, Associate Dean.
- 10:15 – 11:00 am: Keynote address given by Dean Dezsö Horváth.
- 11 – 11:15 am: Break
- 11:15 am – 12:00 pm: In the North Wing, students will have a choice of attending four mini-lectures by Schulich faculty.
- 12 – 1:15pm: Lunch
- 1:15 – 2:15 pm: Alumni panel moderated by Robert Hines, the Executive Director of the Career Development Centre.
- 2:15 – 3:00 pm: In the North Wing, students will have a choice of attending four sessions including a panel discussion.
- 3 – 4:00 pm: Networking reception.
