Robinson College Ranks at No. 24 Among Best Graduate Finance Programs in the U.S.
The Master of Science in Finance program at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business was recently ranked number 24 in the nation by The Financial Engineer. The program moved up 15 spots from the previous year, and remains the only finance program at any Georgia institution to be among the rankings.
The ranking was based on six different criteria regarding the quality of student experience as well as placement outcomes. Ninety-five programs were evaluated and included in the ranking.
Robinson College Dean, Richard D. Phillips, emphasized the honor of such a ranking, as well as its reflection of the students and faculty in the finance program. “Our Financial Engineer ranking is a reflection of the caliber of students in the M.S.-Finance program and the professional success they enjoy as a result of their studies. It also is a testament to the curriculum and to the faculty, who ensure that graduates possess the knowledge, analytical expertise and leadership skills required of financial executives,” he said.
The Master of Science in Finance at the Robinson College of Business is offered as an 11-month program in three semesters. Within the program, class size is limited and students are considered ‘cohorts’ in order to encourage learning from one another, collaboration, and network building. According to the program’s website, the MS was designed “to provide students with the market knowledge, analytical and application expertise, and leadership skills to succeed in today’s changing and uncertain economic environment.”
