Rutgers Launches Supply Chain Certificate Program
Rutgers Business School-Newark and New Brunswick has a new offering geared toward experienced and emerging supply chain leaders.
Rutgers Business School Executive Education will offer Mini-MBA™: Supply Chain in a Digitized Network for the first time starting later this month.
The program will draw on the knowledge of Rutgers’ Supply Chain Management Department, Supply Chain Disruption Research Laboratory and Center for Supply Chain Management, as well as outside industry experts, according to Jackie Scott, global program director of Rutgers Business School Executive Education.
The goal of the new offering is to help supply chain leaders understand the massive changes caused by digital innovation and technology.
“Companies that embrace new technology will be better positioned to unlock fresh revenue streams, provide better customer experiences and create modern operating models that will drive efficiency and create real value,” Scott said.
Topics covered in the one-week accelerated program include Creating an Omni-Channel Customer Experience, The Green Value Chain and Innovation and Agile Development in a Digital Age.
Appropriately for a program focused on technology, all students will receive an iPad, and course content will be delivered via a mobile app. Students in the supply chain program can receive a three-credit course waiver toward an MBA degree.
