Applying to Imperial College Business School’s Full-Time MBA Program? As next month’s deadline nears, there is a wide variety of scholarships you should keep in mind as you work on your application, according to the school.
The next application deadline for September 2016 intake is Jan. 29. You will be automatically considered for the following scholarships if you are accepted into the MBA program. If you’re interested in a particular scholarship, you should address how you meet its requirements as you write your personal statement.
The scholarships include:
Dorothy Griffiths Scholarships
Amount: Up to £10,000.
Requirements: Academic and professional merit, professional references, “a drive for innovation, excellence and gender parity.”
Imperial Women’s Scholarships
Amount: Up to £15,000.
Requirements: Academic and professional merit, professional references.
Brilliant Minds MBA Scholarship
Amount: Up to £22,500.
Requirements: Academic (first-class honors degree preferred) and professional merit, professional references. In addition to addressing the academic and professional requirements of the scholarship, your personal statement should address “the life experiences that have shaped who you are today and the challenges you have overcome to excel in education,” the school recommends.
Future Leaders MBA Scholarship
Amount: Up to £22,500.
Requirements: Academic and professional merit (six years of post-graduate work experience is preferred), professional references. The scholarship recognizes students with the potential and passion for visionary leadership.
Imperial Business Scholarships
Amount: Up to £15,000
Requirements: Academic and professional merit — candidates with a record of achievement in pharmaceutical/healthcare, energy, telecoms, science/technology, engineering, consulting or military are especially encouraged to apply. The scholarship is designed for candidates who have the potential to become socially responsible leaders.
Imperial Loyalty Bursary
Amount: 20 percent off total fees
Requirements: An undergraduate degree passed at upper second class or higher or a post-graduate degree from Imperial.
You can also apply for these scholarships during the next application round, which deadlines on March 11.
