Villanova School of Business Joins Envestnet

The Villanova School of Business (VSB) was recently selected to participate in the Envestnet Institute’s On Campus pilot program. Envestnet, in partnership with Wheelhouse Analytics, offers online wealth management training. Students earn a certificate upon completion of the program.

Five graduate students and 17 undergrads will enroll. Villanova joins Fairfield University, Bryant University, Mount St. Mary’s University, the University of Rhode Island, Colgate University, Rowan University, the University of Delaware, and the University of New Hampshire as an Envestnet school.

In a press release, Interim Dean Daniel Wright, PhD said, “VSB is proud to be selected to participate in this valuable program. It provides an opportunity for our students to understand the connection between the theory and practice of wealth management…In the spring, additional spots will be offered to sophomores, juniors and graduate students seeking careers in this field.”

Envestnet Institute On Campus is comprised of seven mandatory courses. It includes optional white papers, podcasts, and webinars, all of which offer students practical knowledge of the wealth management industry. Jim Seuffert, Senior Partner at Wheelhouse Analytics said, “Our …students [have] told us that we provided them with relevant, broad-based practical training that has helped them prepare for job interviews and searches in the wealth management industry… We could not be more pleased with this feedback, and we look forward to training more students–from a larger academic community–during the fall semester.”

Envestnet’s curriculum is approved by the Money Management Institute.
