This is the sixth year that Business Insider has done this ranking. For this year’s list, the website revamped its methodology. Reputation counted for 35 percent of the ranking and was based on a survey of Business Insider readers who had interviewed job candidates with MBA’s.
In other categories, information was provided by the schools themselves. Twenty-five percent of the ranking was based on post-graduate salary. Tuition and fees and average GMAT score each made up 15 percent of the ranking. The final 10 percent of the ranking was based on job placement.
The Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania ranked number one overall in the Business Insider rankings.
