Cranfield School of Management is marking its fiftieth anniversary in 2017 with new scholarship opportunities.
The “50 Scholars for 50 Years” program will make 50 scholarships available to students who will start the Cranfield School’s Full-Time MBA Program in September 2016 or the Part-Time Executive MBA Program in January 2017, according to a press release from the school.
Every applicant to both of these programs will be considered for one of the fiftieth-anniversary scholarships.
Scholarships will be awarded based on an applicant’s academic and professional achievements and GMAT score (or equivalent), as well as an interviewer’s report on the applicant’s communication and interpersonal skills, potential as a leader or entrepreneur, and potential to contribute to the cohort.
Applicants will be notified whether they received one of the anniversary scholarships at the time of their admissions decision.
Each scholarship will be worth at least £7,500 (almost $10,700 U.S.). According to the Cranfield School, cost for each MBA program is about £36,000, plus living expenses.
For the Full-Time MBA Program, the school makes admissions decisions on a rolling basis. The Stage 3 deadline for 2016 entry is April 24, and the Stage 4 deadline is June 26. The Executive MBA Program does not have formal deadlines, but the school recommends applying early.
The Cranfield School is hosting an information day for prospective MBA students on March 5.
According to the school’s website, “The School of Management grew out of industrial need for management training and was formally established in 1967 (although the Cranfield MBA dates back to 1964).”
