Not only does Happy Hour give you an opportunity to blow off some steam, but it also performs a productive role in business. A new study shows that moderate amounts of alcohol increase social bonding between individuals and stimulate longer conversations.

The study, conducted by the University of Pittsburgh, enlisted 720 participants to look at the effect of Happy Hour by providing them three drinks over 36 minutes. They discovered that participants who received a moderate amount of alcohol:
