Argyros School MBA Ranked in Top Tier by CEO Magazine

Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business and Economics (Chapman Argyros School) was recently ranked in the top tier of CEO Magazine’s Global MBA list.

This news was announced by Chapman Argyros on February 11, 2016.  The ranking is a first for the University’s MBA program.

Darryl Stevens, the assistant dean of graduate and executive education at the Chapman Argyros School, said, “The CEO Magazine ranking does not differentiate between #1 and #2—they put all schools in a tier together, which means that Chapman’s MBA program is as good a return on investment as any of the schools in the tier.” Argyros is joined by eighty nine other MBA programs across the country, including, in the region, California State University Long Beach; University of California, San Diego; and Loyola Marymount.

Chapman’s MBA program was formed in 2005. Currently home to fifty eight students, it appeals to those in their early careers who are seeking a launch pad into entrepreneurship roles or C-Suite careers. The program, in addition to its ranking in CEO Magazine, has also been acknowledged by Bloomberg BusinessWeek and U.S. News and World Report.

CEO Magazine has ranked top MBA programs since 2012. In a statement, a representative of the publication said, “The Global MBA Rankings are designed with applicants in mind, and examine the nuts and bolts of an MBA: the learning environment, class sizes, tuition fees, faculty, delivery methods, international diversity, gender make-up and more. The objective is simple, to identify schools which marry exceptional quality with great ROI.”
