The Rady School of Management at UC San Diego announced a partnership with Mirum, which will give graduate students a chance to work with clients using data analytics and business intelligence. Mirum is a leading global digital agency that brings integrated analytics services to global clients.
The partnership with the Center for Business Analytics will give Rady School graduates a chance to work with Mirum on top client projects. Karen Bellin, the VP of Insights at Mirum, will lead the program – which began in January 2016 on a project related to innovations in healthcare marketing and communications.
The Center for Business Analytics partners with private businesses and public agencies to assist in data-driven decision making. It serves as a data analytics research, innovation, and education platform that enables businesses to focus on creating value and competitive advantage. Rady School faculty act as experts to corporate partners to identify, study, and discover solutions to critical business problems.
The new partnership is a wonderful opportunity for both Rady School graduate students and Mirum. It will provide an opportunity for innovative data analytics research and aid in the training of graduate students in the areas of analytics and digital marketing.
“We are thrilled to work with the Rady School’s Center for Business Analytics. It’s a major opportunity for us to bring our global clients into the local San Diego market, and to expand our data and analytics expertise by partnering with the broader community,” said Alex Benjamin, Managing Director at Mirum in a recent press release. “These graduating MBA students are among San Diego’s most innovative and creative thinkers tackling the pressing business problems of tomorrow. Our partnership with the Center for Business Analytics gives us a unique chance to work with great, young talent from the region and bring these insights back to our clients.
The Center for Business Analytics accepts a limited number of corporate partners, each representing a wide spectrum of industries.
