CEO Magazine’s annual ranking of MBA, EMBA and Online MBA programs was recently released, featuring high rankings for the Mercer University – Eugene W. Stetson School of Business & Economics.
Both the MBA and EMBA programs at Stetson are in the top tier of schools represented in the magazine’s global rankings, with the Online MBA placing at No. 16 (the program ranks even higher at #11 when adjusted for degree programs only within North America.) Such factors as class size, student diversity and academic standards helped to determine the ranking.
Launching in 2008, CEO Magazine was established to celebrate top business schools around the world. The magazine’s global MBA rankings have grown exponentially since its first release in 2012. This year, the magazine reached out to more than 300 business schools, with 140 included in the ranking- spanning North America, Australia and Europe.
Editor-in-Chief of CEO Magazine, Alexandra Skinner, commented on the magazine’s growth. “The increase in the number of business schools participating and the inclusion of some very well-known and highly regarded players within the market serve to further establish the CEO Magazine Global MBA Rankings as a go-to reference tool for future MBA students,” she said.
While several publications offer both national and global rankings of MBA programs, the CEO Magazine ranking is designed with applicants in mind: in addition to the factors mentioned above, the magazine evaluates such factors as gender makeup, tuition, learning environment and faculty to determine the ranking.
