In the recently released U.S. News & World Report ranking of top graduate schools, the part-time MBA at the Kennesaw State University – Michael J. Coles College of Business placed 59th nationwide.

Although the “Best Graduate Schools” ranking is not a new honor for Coles — this is the fourth time the MBA earned a top spot — Kennesaw State is one of just four universities to make the list in Georgia.

Timothy Mathews, the director of MBA programs at Coles, commented on the high quality of the program:

“Being ranked by U.S. News as the 59th best part-time MBA in the country, and 16th among programs in the South, demonstrates the exceptional quality of the Coles MBA,” Mathews said. “Since this ranking depends critically upon peer assessment of programs, our placement reveals the national stature and prominence that Kennesaw State University is achieving.”

The part-time MBA program at Coles College enrolls over 175 students each year, who are given the opportunity to maintain a flexible schedule while earning their MBA with courses available on the weekends and in evenings.

The U.S. News “Best Graduate Schools 2017″ ranking evaluates schools on a number of factors, including average graduate exams (GMAT and GRE) scores, average peer assessment score, percent of part time students from total MBA enrollment, undergraduate GPA, and work experience.

“This is a reflection of the high quality faculty and students that we have in our program,” Mathews said. “A Coles MBA is unquestionably a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to pursue a business education at the graduate level.”
