Foster School MBA Ranks Top 30 in US News Report
Once again, the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington cemented its reputation as one of the top MBA programs in the country. According to the most recent US News & World Report rankings of Top MBA Programs, the Foster School Full-Time MBA is #27 and their Part-Time program is #13 in the US.
The rankings come as no surprise. The Foster School MBA is continually ranked as one of the best in the nation and worldwide. The School was ranked #20 in the nation by Bloomberg Businessweek, #37 in the world by The Economist, and #49 in the world by the Financial Times.
The Foster School MBA is known for its dynamics of leadership in business organizations as well as for teaching best practices while making business decisions. Part of the reason behind the school’s success is its premier location in Seattle—home to globally recognized firms such as Amazon.com, Starbucks Corp, and Microsoft Corp.
Students getting their Full-Time MBA from the Foster School work alongside a diverse and selective group of peers, learning from some of the top faculty in the nation. Notable alumni include William Ayer, President and CEO of Alaska Airlines, and Andrew Brimmer, the first African-American to serve as governor of the Federal Reserve System.
The Foster School was the only school in Seattle to make it onto the list this year. All schools included in the US News rankings were evaluated by their peers and recruiters through a survey and were also judged based on statistics such as mean starting salaries, employment rates, mean GMAT scores, and more. To be included in the Full-Time MBA rankings, a program had to have 20 or more of its 2015 Full-Time MBA graduates seeking employment.
Candidates interested in the Foster School for their MBA can choose between their Full-Time program, Evening program, Executive MBA, Global Executive MBA, and Technology Management MBA.
