A Claremont Graduate University Drucker School of Management professor will be a lead panelist at the upcoming M2W® Marketing to Women Conference on May 2-3, 2016.
Professor Jenny Darroch is an accomplished scholar in the field of knowledge management and the author of Why Marketing to Women Doesn’t Work.
The conference, which is in its 12th year, plays host to marketing executives and senior managers from both national and international Fortune 500 companies. Attendees from both the service and consumer products sector come from a wide spectrum of fields including pharma, healthcare, retail, media and electronics.
Professor Darroch will moderate two panels – “What it Takes to be a Brand a Millennial Woman Can’t Live Without” and “Reaching Women Around the Globe”. Darroch was acknowledged in 2015 by The Journal of Knowledge Management as one of the field’s most influential thinkers.
She said of the conference,
“There are plenty of other conferences that focus on [empowering] women… This conference is different because it acknowledges that women influence about 85 percent of all purchase decisions… [the panel topics speak] to marketers who want to know how to more effectively market to them.”
The M2W® Conference will host dozens of other speakers. Among them are Tina Daniels, Director of Agency Business Development at Google; Vicky Free, EVP at BET Networks; and Katarzyna Pawlikowska, co-founder of Garden of Words, the first communications and marketing company in Poland.
