On Wednesday, October 12th, the University of San Diego School of Business is heading to Seattle to host a start-up panel at SURF Incubator. The panel, which will be composed of USD entrepreneurs as well as experts in the field, will offer attendees a chance to participate in an interactive discussion on the triumphs and pitfalls of starting a business. The focus of the entire event will be finishing the statement, “If I knew then what I know now…”
Panelists and Attendees
Three panelists have confirmed their attendance at the event:
- Sean McClinton, chief travel experience expert at SpaceToTravel
- Midori Lawler, global marketing manager at Microsoft’s BizSpark
- Save Lon, CEO and co-founder of Exponential Entertainment
Each of the panelists has extensive experience in starting and running a successful startup. Alongside the panelists, four members of the USD School of Business community have also signed up to attend and speak:
- Jaime Alonso Gomez, dean of the School of Business
- Brittan Trozzi, assistant director of alumni relations at the School of Business
- Brooke Hauser, development manager at the School of Business
- Regina Bernal, Entrepreneurship Program manager at the School of Business
Event Details
The cost of a ticket is $10 and will include light hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The networking workshop is being offered by the USD Alumni Association and is open to all USD alumni, parents and friends. To learn more about the event and to register, click here.
