To celebrate 15 years of success, the Kellog-Schulich Executive MBA program hosted its annual alumni gala at the historic University Club of Toronto. The event was an incredible opportunity to bring together over a decade’s worth of global alumni—over 80 in total—and to commemorate the EMBA program’s years of achievement.
Since its inception in 2001, the Kellogg-Schulich EMBA program has become one of the top-ranked Global MBA programs in the world. It’s regularly ranked as the number one program in Canada by the Financial Times of London (UK) as well as the Economist.
For the special occasion, attendees—including alumni, faculty and staff—came together to listen to a special keynote presentation by John Ruffolo, the OMERS Ventures CEO. He shared insights on technological innovation and how it is disruptive to every industry and how vital it is for companies to innovate to survive.
In regards to the 15th-anniversary celebration of the EMBA program, André deCarufel, the associate professor of organization studies, said, “The success of the Kellogg-Schulich program has been due to 15 years of dedicated work by our staff, professors, partner schools, students and alumni.” And the associate dean of the EMBA Global Network, Greg Hanifee added, “Alumni of the program do not just want to be successful. They also strive to be contributors to society. It is a real testament to the program’s vision of creating global leaders.”
