Johns Hopkins Launches Carey Business Fellows Program

According to a recent press release, the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School has established the Carey Business Fellows program in order to provide full tuition and a stipend for top MBA students. The program will be available for students admitted to the fall 2017 class of the full-time Global MBA program.Fellows will receive full tuition for one year and an $18,000 stipend during the academic year. Global MBA candidates with least two to four years of full-time work experience, an overall GMAT or GRE score at or above the 80th percentile (680 or higher) and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher from an accredited college or university are eligible to apply.

“Nearly every industry today faces challenges in attracting the best talent. The same is true for business education,” said Bernie Ferrari, dean of the Carey Business School. “The Carey Business School Global MBA is an innovative program, and we believe the Carey Business Fellows initiative will make our program even more inviting for the best students.”

A maximum of eight Carey Business Fellows will be named for the fall 2017 Global MBA class and students in good standing can renew the scholarship and stipend for the second year of the Global MBA program.

The Carey Global MBA program offers primarily daytime and evening classes at the Baltimore campus. Carey offers one intake per year, and classes begin during the fall semester. During the summer between the first and second years of the program, students take part in a three-week Innovation for Humanity program, traveling to different countries across the globe to work collaboratively with local entrepreneurs and community leaders.
