UTA College of Business Named Best Business School by Princeton Review

College of Business

The University of Texas at Arlington – College of Business was recently named one of the “best” business schools in the Princeton Review‘s 2017 “Best 294 Business Schools“.

“We recommend The University of Texas at Arlington, College of Business as one of the best to earn an MBA,” said Princeton Review Senior VP-Publisher Robert Franek.

“We chose the 294 schools in the book based on our high regard for their academics and our assessment of institutional data we collected from the schools. We also solicited and greatly respect the opinions of 25,000 students attending these schools who reported on their experiences[…]”

The school profiles from the Princeton Review look at different aspects of university life, such as academics, admissions information, student life and graduates’ employment data. In addition, using institutional data collected during 2015-16 and student surveys, the profiles rate the schools in five different categories: academic experience, admissions selectivity, career, professors accessibility and professor interest. In academic experience, UTA scores a 90 out of 99 and an 88 out of 99 for admissions selectivity.

“We strive to provide a great experience for our MBA students,” said Dr. Chandra Subramaniam, Interim Dean at the College of Business. “Our students are well prepared for the next steps in their career after graduating from UTA. The faculty at the College of Business arm our students with the skills needed so they can achieve success in their careers.”

According to Becky Neilson, Director of Graduate Business Services at UTA, working for a top business school is especially rewarding when graduation day comes around, and faculty and staff get to see how their work has helped a student to attain their educational goals and dreams.
