UNT Distinguished Speaker Series to Host Regions Bank Exec

Distinguished Speaker Series

The University of North Texas – College of Business will host business leader Brad Campbell of Regions Bank as part of their Distinguished Speaker Series this February.

The Distinguished Speaker Series at UNT’s College of Business is meant to give both students and faculty a chance to engage directly with current executives and leaders in the business community. Students can learn the complexities of the business world directly from these professionals, and encourage themselves through inspiring stories of success. The Distinguished Speaker aims to give students a look at complex issues in business outside of a classroom environment, where they can learn more about potential career paths, important leadership qualities and important industry-related news.

The next Distinguished Speaker Series event at UNT will take place February 10 at the UNT Union, and will feature Brad Campbell, senior vice president, commercial banking executive for the North and Central Texas area for Regions Bank. Mr. Campbell is responsible for all commercial and business banking lines of business throughout the Dallas-Forth Worth, Austin and San Antonio metros. Entering the role with more than eighteen years of experience in financial services, Mr. Campbell’s team includes six independent lending teams with 38 bankers and 21 support staff.

Mr. Campbell earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from UNT in 1998. Before joining Regions Financial Corporation in 2008, he served as the vice president of First Horizon Bank.

Since 2008, Mr. Campbell was directly responsible for creating more than $700 million in new loans while acting as a commercial banker at Regions, before his current role. In his role today, Campbell’s group manages a book of business more than $2.1 billion.
