According to the newest MBA program rankings from U.S. News & World Report, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business’ part-time MBA program came in ranked as the number two overall program in the nation.U.S. News & World Report released the new rankings on March 14, 2017. The newest list features information and rankings across six disciplines—business, law, engineering, education, medicine and nursing—to help prospective students identify programs that support their professional growth and career needs.
According to U.S. News, the six graduate disciplines ranked are evaluated on factors such as employment rates and starting salaries for graduates and standardized test scores of newly enrolled students.
The University of Chicago’s part-time MBA is consistently ranked among the top programs in the nation. Booth’s Evening MBA Program operates out of the Gleacher Center in downtown Chicago, with classes meeting one evening per week from 6-9 p.m. The program accepts new students at four times during the year, prior to each of the autumn, winter, spring and summer quarters.
The Booth curriculum consists of 20 classes plus Leadership Effectiveness and Development (LEAD) and the school offers its full curriculum to Evening MBA students. Faculty, courses and degree requirements are the same for all Booth MBA programs so students have the option of taking classes in the Weekend MBA or full-time MBA programs if their schedule permits.
The only school to best Chicago Booth this year was the University of California’s Haas School of Business.
