Coles Part-Time MBA Ranked Among Best in U.S.
The Kennesaw State University – Michael J. Coles College of Business‘ part-time MBA was recently ranked among the top programs in the United States by U.S. News & World Report.
The 2018 Best Graduate Schools ranking from U.S. News & World Report named the Coles part-time Master of Business Administration program as the 28th best in the country. It also placed best among all Georgia business schools in this category.
“We are exceptionally pleased to be recognized among the nation’s leading business schools,” said Coles College Dean Kathy Schwaig. “Having our MBA program receive this level of recognition is a testament to the excellence of our faculty, staff, students, graduates and program—and university-level leaders.”
The U.S. News ranking considers five factors: average graduate exam scores, average undergraduate grad point average, years of professional experience, average peer assessment score and the percentage of part-time enrollment overall. This year’s ranking considered 301 programs.
Coles College rose 31 places from the prior year’s ranking. Leaders at the school explained this meteoric rise as a result of increased effort to create a relevant and flexible program while still convenient for part-time students.
Coles College currently enrolls 168 part-time MBA students, part of a program that can be crucial for working professionals without the time to commit to a full degree program. With maximum flexibility for the program’s busy students, the Coles part-time MBA offers courses in the evening, with two location options for classes: the KSU Center in Kennesaw and Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.
