George Mason Moves Up in Latest U.S. News Part-Time MBA Ranking
The full U.S News & World Report rankings officially debuted earlier this morning, with huge shifts for business schools all across the country. According to the newest part-time MBA rankings, George Mason University’s part-time MBA program is now ranked 53rd overall—a jump of 21 spots since last year’s rankings.“This ranking is one indicator of our commitment to providing students a high value, accessible, convenient and transformative learning experience to promote our students’ career success,” said Paige Wolf, Senior Assistant Dean of Graduate programs. “At the School of Business, we strive to be the school of choice for working professionals in the national capital region.”
George Mason officially shares the the number 53 spot on the U.S. News part-time MBA ranking with Clemson University, George Washington University and North Carolina State University.
Mason’s part-time MBA is an accelerated evening program and allows students to graduate in 23 months by taking classes during evenings across two campuses: George Mason University’s main campus in Fairfax, VA and its Arlington campus. The Professional MBA program offers one student intake per year, with classes beginning in the fall semester.
The newest U.S. News & World Report list features information and rankings across six disciplines—business, law, engineering, education, medicine and nursing—to help prospective students identify programs that support their professional growth and career needs.
According to U.S. News, the six graduate disciplines ranked are evaluated on factors such as employment rates and starting salaries for graduates and standardized test scores of newly enrolled students.
