Rutgers Mini-MBA Offers Crash Course in Data Driven Management
Rutgers Business School recently announced a five-day accelerated Mini-MBA in Data Driven Management developed to equip “business leaders [with] the knowledge, tools and training to manage business opportunities by leveraging data.”
Hosted by Rutgers’ Executive Education arm from April 17-21, 2017, the Mini-MBA offers an in-depth survey of “how the data explosion is changing the business landscape.” Program Manager Margaret O’Donnell says, “Data is at the heart of the disruptions occurring across our economy because data is permeating absolutely everything we do.”
“With so many steps between raw data and its effective usage, managers need exposure to current tools and an understanding of how to use them first, then of how to interpret and capitalize upon the results,” says O’Donnell.
As the school points out, managers are welcome to attend the five-day mini-MBA event if they would like to learn about:
- “Understand how the data explosion is changing the business landscape.”
- “Increase ROI for their organization by leveraging data already being collected.”
- “Implement a data life cycle from collection to operationalization.”
- “Learn to manage and lead data-driven projects, in addition to managing and leading data-driven teams.”
Also according to the press release, Rutgers’ Mini-MBA is guaranteed to help emerging and present-day managers with limited data experience “improve business operations, reduce the costs of doing business, effectively identify profitable customers, gain market advantage, make better-informed decisions and formulate a strategy for business success.”
Applications for the program are available now. Cost of the event will be at estimated $4,995. Those who would like to know more about the April min-MBA are welcome to email O’Donnell.
