Times Higher Education Announces 2017 Shortlist
For the past nine years, Times Higher Education has reviewed the top higher education institutions in the UK for The Leadership & Management Awards (THELMAs). These awards shine a spotlight on the teams behind a university’s success. The awards’ goal is to showcase and celebrate the best examples of innovation, teamwork and enterprise at the various schools. They’re free to enter and open to anyone working in UK higher education.
For 2017, the THELMAs have released their shortlist of candidates for each of 17 categories. The categories cover everything from “Outstanding Digital Innovation of the Year” to “Outstanding Library Team” and “Workplace of the Year.” While the criteria vary per category, the judges look for excellent examples of best practice during the academic year.
This year, three London schools (with MBA programs) made it onto the list.
