The La Salle University’s part-time MBA program has been added to U.S. News and World Report’s 2018 edition of Best Graduate Schools. The ranking is based on a variety of factors, such as average peer assessment score, average GMAT and GRE scores and average number of years of work experience.
La Salle’s part-time MBA program recently underwent significant changes. Initially, the part-time MBA was a traditional program, wherein students completed all of their classes on campus. In recent years, the program has adopted a hybrid structure, so students get both the benefits of face-to-face coursework and the convenience of an online format.
In addition to the convenience and flexibility of the program’s hybrid structure, students have the option of choosing where they would like to attend their in-person classes. Courses are offered in Philadelphia, Newtown and Plymouth. Half of each class is conducted online, with the other half conducted in the classroom.
The structure of La Salle’s part-time MBA allows the flexibility for working students to accommodate their busy schedules.
According to Interim Dean MarySheila McDonald, J.D., “The part-time MBA’s recent shift from a traditional face-to-face format to a hybrid program, blending classroom experience with online coursework, reflects our commitment to meeting students where they are and leveraging the virtual classroom…blending human interaction with the use of technology.”
La Salle’s School of Business is no stranger to accolades. The university was recently named one of Princeton Review’s Best 294 Business Schools. La Salle also made Forbes’ “America’s Best Value College” list.
