Coles EMBA

The Executive MBA program at the Kennesaw State University – Michael J. Coles College of Business has been ranked as the ninth best in the world and the best in Georgia among the CEO Magazine’s Global Executive MBA Rankings for 2017.

The Coles EMBA was also ranked as a Global Tier One program for the third year in a row. The CEO Magazine ranking also included a numerical component for the first time this year, placing the Coles EMBA in the top 10 globally and first in the state. The ranking also indicates programs as Tier One or Tier Two, depending on such factors as class size, accreditation, work experience, and quality of faculty.

Only four other North American universities ranked ahead of Coles in the global ranking.

“We are thrilled to see this ranking, as it reflects years of hard work by our faculty and leadership team,” said Coles dean Kathy Schwaig. “Our Executive MBA is a flagsip program for the Coles College, and we are a leading provider of Executive MBAs in the country. We have worked diligently to create a high-quality program that features coaching, innovation and intensive international experience.”

The Coles Executive MBA on average enrolls 45 working professionals each year in a 19-month program which provides executive coaching and a customized curriculum for professionals looking to expand their career opportunities. In addition to the degree’s high ranking from CEO Magazine, the Coles EMBA was also awarded 3rd globally for teamwork and 10th in e-business by Bloomberg Businessweek. The CEO Ranking also recognized Coles’ Doctor of Business Administration among twenty schools globally acknowledged as a “premier DBA provider”.

“This recognition underscores the quality of our integrated curriculum, the dedication of our Executive MBA-only faculty and the high caliber of our students,” commented executive director of the EMBA program, Alison Keefe. “We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious recognition acknowledging the excellence in innovation that is a hallmark of the Coles College and Kennesaw State.”
