A new partnership has been recently announced between the University of Dallas – Satish and Yasmin Gupta College of Business and Prospanica—the Association of Hispanic Professionals. Together, the two institutions hope to better prepare all students at the university to enter a diverse workforce and serve in a range of specialties and fields.
Prospanica aims to provide opportunities for Hispanic students, from undergraduates to MBAs. The organization has 46 professional and university chapters spread throughout the U.S., with strong ties to both universities and Fortune 500 companies. Since its founding in 1988, Prospanica has focused on its mission to empower Hispanic professionals, strengthening the entire country in the process.
The partnership between Gupta and Prospanica will offer special tuition benefits for Prospanica members upon enrollment. Such benefits may be applied to all Gupta programs, whether undergraduate, graduate, or part of the Gupta College of Business Center for Executive Education.
“Prospanica’s commitment to empowering Hisapnic business professionals to achieve their full potential aligns with our mission to prepare our students to become principled and moral leaders,” Gupta Dean Brett J.L. Landry said in a recent press release. “The partnership is a natural fit, and we look forward to welcoming Prospanica’s members into our classrooms.”
In addition to Prospanica, Gupta has ongoing partnerships with companies such as Kroger, Southwest Airlines, Michaels, and CHRISTUS Health.
Thomas Savino, CEO of Prospanica, commented on the new partnership, saying, “Prospanica strives to connect our membership to meaningful and transformative learning experiences. This partnership will offer both our student and professional members new opportunities to advance and thrive.”
