From week to week, this column highlights positions for freshly graduated MBAs. The going assumption is that readers have about five years of prior work experience. However, there are many MBA graduates who have spent a decade or more working in the field before they arrived at the decision to pursue b-school. This week, let’s explore jobs for more experienced MBA graduates.

Director, Financial Analysis — WarnerMedia

A branch of AT&T, WarnerMedia creates news, entertainment, animation, and sports programs that are broadcast around the world. Properties under this name include Adult Swim, TNT, TBS, and HBO, among others.

WarnerMedia is hiring a Director of Financial Analysis who will work out of the company’s New York City office. The person hired to this position will be responsible for overseeing operations in the company’s Chief Revenue Office. In addition, he or she will need to complete various financial analyses to help the company make decisions about its short- and long-term future. Candidates for this position should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, and an MBA is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing robust, innovative analyses
  • Overseeing the preparation of detailed historical and projection models
  • Tracking macroeconomic and competitive data

Commercial Banking Strategy – Executive Director — JP Morgan Chase

JP Morgan Chase is a multinational investment bank. According to S&P Global, it is the largest bank in the United States and sixth largest in the world according to total assets. Known as one of the Big Four banks, JP Morgan Chase offers asset management, private banking, wealth management, and treasury services in addition to its investment banking offerings.

JP Morgan Chase is hiring an Executive Director to work out of its New York headquarters. The person hired for this position will be working in the company’s commercial banking segment, which provides services to 17,000 organizational clients and 34,000 real estate clients. He or she will work on developing strategies to improve the clients’ experience as well as the performance of commercial banking. Candidates for this position should have at least eight years of prior consulting experience, three years in management, and an MBA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Influencing the bank’s strategic agenda
  • Building and developing junior consultants
  • Assessing new markets for expansion

Executive Director, Marketing, ADF North America — Clinique

A subsidiary of Estée Lauder, Clinique is a manufacturer of skincare, cosmetics, toiletries, and fragrances. A high-end brand, Clinique is well known for the fact that its products are dermatologically tested. Their products are sold in higher-end stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue.

Clinique is hiring an Executive Director of Marketing. The position is located in New York City. The person hired for this position will be reporting to the GM of North America, Aramis and Designer Fragrances. He or she will be responsible for developing a marketing strategy to promote a portfolio of designer fragrances for men. Candidates for this position should have at least 10 years of prior marketing/sales experience, and prior experience in the beauty industry is preferred. Ideal candidates for this position will have an MBA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the marketing team
  • Building strategic marketing plans that support long- and short-term business interests
  • Managing multiple elements of the marketing strategy (e.g., manager training for rollout)

Executive Manager, Client Service, U.S. Service Directors — BNY Mellon

The Bank of New York Mellon, better known as BNY Mellon, is a merger of the Bank of New York and Mellon Financial Corporation. BNY Mellon is currently the world’s largest custodian bank. The bank holds roughly $1.7 trillion is assets under management and $33.1 trillion in assets under custody.

BNY Mellon is hiring an Executive Manager to work out of its New York offices. The person hired for this position will contribute to the organization’s client service strategy and work to improve client services. Candidates for this position should have at least 15 years of working experience, with five to seven of those years in management. Ideal candidates will have an MBA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding the development of policies to ensure client satisfaction
  • Providing insight to drive future revenue growth
  • Recruiting and motivating staff
