With Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business announcement of launching an Online MBA program, we welcome Shelly Heinrich, the Associate Dean for MBA Admissions and Director of Marketing, and Prashant Malaviya, Professor of Marketing and Senior Associate Dean of MBA Programs, to the Clear Admit podcast to discuss the new offering.
Shelly Heinrich leads the MBA Admissions team in both its marketing and operational strategy to build awareness, recruit, yield, and retain the Full-time and Flex MBA programs. She also develops the integrated marketing strategy for the team and manages the internal marketing team and external marketing firm in its execution.
Prashant Malaviya is Professor of Marketing and Senior Associate Dean of MBA Programs. He joined Georgetown University in 2008 after nine years at INSEAD, France. Professor Malaviya is a Consumer Psychologist by training and received his Ph.D. from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management. He has taught courses to Executives, MBA and Undergraduate students on marketing management, marketing strategy, brand management, customer focus, consumer behavior, and related topics.
Georgetown McDonough is now one of just a handful of leading MBA programs to enter the online MBA domain. The pandemic, the popularity of McDonough’s part-time Flex MBA, and the success the school has had with other online master’s offerings in finance and business analytics, all led to this exciting step.
In this podcast episode, Shelly and Prashant dig into the new Georgetown McDonough Online MBA, talking about:
- The motivation for launching an online cohort
- The student experience
- The application process
…and more!
