Carey Graduates Its Largest Class Ever
Congratulations to 2014 graduates of Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, the school’s largest graduating class ever. For the 2013-2014 academic year, the Carey Business School graduated 730 students, which includes 138 graduates from the summer of 2013, 154 in the fall of 2013 and 438 in this week.
“This was a tremendous year for our school, and I am very proud of all of our graduates,” said Bernie Ferrari, dean of the Carey Business School. “Our continued growth demonstrates the success of our school in attracting talented students and faculty to build an innovative and relevant business education experience.”
Visa Inc. Chief Executive Officer Charles W. Scharf will deliver the main graduation address. Scharf, also known as Charlie, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Visa, Inc. since October 2012. He is on the Board of Trustees for Johns Hopkins University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The John Hopkins University.
As the business school of the Johns Hopkins University, the Carey Business School creates and disseminates knowledge that will shape business practices and educate business leaders who will grow economies and better their communities. The school measures its success by the way graduates stands out as an innovative business leader and exemplary citizens.
