La Salle University Online MBA Program Structure
La Salle offers the Online MBA in the following areas: accounting, business systems and analytics, finance, management, or marketing. Coursework for each specialty can be completed in as few as 14 months, and is comprised of 33-39 credit hours.
Curriculum
The Online MBA requires students to complete 11-14 courses, two of which are foundational, and only necessary if the applicant has not completed equivalent coursework with a grade of B or higher. The remainder of the curriculum is composed of 3-4 core courses; three specialization courses in the chosen area of focus; four executive perspectives courses, and an integrative capstone course. All courses are eight weeks in length.
Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
Tuition for the La Salle University Online MBA ranges from $24,981 for 33 credit hours, and $29,523 for 39 credits. Cost per credit hour is $757. Tuition is the same for in-state and out-of-state students. The total cost of the program with no course waivers is $29,523.
La Salle offers a variety of options for financial aid, including grants, federal and alternative loans, scholarships, and tuition exchange.
Admissions
The requirements for the Online MBA are official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities; a current professional resume; and GMAT test scores. Certain students may submit GRE scores if granted permission by the department. Both of these requirements may be waived if the student has earned an undergrad business degree with a minimum 3.2 GPA. Students with at least a 3.0 and three years of professional experience may also obtain a waiver, as can those with five or more years of work experience.
Students with a minimum 3.0 GPA in any undergraduate discipline and at least two years of work experience are also eligible for a waiver. After achieving a minimum of a ‘B-‘ in each course, as well as an overall 3.3 GPA, GMAT or GRE scores will also be waived.
