Pepperdine Graziadio Business School

History

The Pepperdine business school was founded in 1969 by the school’s first dean, Dr. Donald Sime. In 1971, George Pepperdine achieved university status and in 1972, Pepperdine opened a new campus in Malibu overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The school’s first full-time MBA launched in 1988. In 1996, the school was named after benefactor George L. Graziadio.

Location

The main campus of the University is located at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Malibu Canyon Road. Full-time MBA, International MBA, Executive MBA, and Presidents and Key Executives MBA classes meet on the Malibu campus. Other campus locations include West Los Angeles, Irvine, Encino, Westlake Village, and Silicon Valley. The Graziadio School also offers its popular part-time MBA programs online.

The Graziadio School is located about 30 miles away from the Los Angeles International Airport.

Facilities

The Graziadio School is located in the Beckman Management Center, located on Via Pacifica, in the Drescher Graduate Complex. Students have access to full-scale educational services—executive-style classrooms, faculty offices, computer lab, cafeteria, bookstore, and reference facilities.

The Villa Graziadio Executive Center is a full-service conference facility and hotel located on the Malibu campus, with 45,000 square feet of meeting space.

Faculty

There are currently over 100 faculty members at the Graziadio School of Business and Management, teaching across 15 fields of study, including: Accounting, Applied Behavioral Science, Business Law, Decision Sciences, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Organizational Theory and Management, Strategy, Information Systems Technology Management, International Business, International Management, Real Estate, SEER Business and Management, and Entrepreneurship.

The world-class faculty are uniquely qualified both academically and professionally. Faculty members not only have distinguished academic credentials, but have proven themselves in the business world as executives, entrepreneurs, and consultants.

Student Body

The total enrollment at Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management MBA programs is around 370. The business school, in total, enrolls over 1,700 students.

MBA Degree Offerings

In addition to the traditional two-year full-time MBA, Graziadio offers a part-time, Executive, and Presidents and Key Executives MBA.
