Pepperdine University Part-Time MBA Program Structure
The Pepperdine University part-time MBA at Graziadio School of Business is offered in on-campus, online, and hybrid formats at four of the school’s locations, including Encino, West Los Angeles, Irvine, and Westlake. An average class size of 15 to 20 students (and a maximum of 30) ensures personal attention, a supportive community, and a high level of collaboration between faculty and peers. The program can be completed in as little as two years, and as many as seven. Students can also complete their MBA online with one of the top-rated online programs in the country, or in a hybrid flex format blending on-campus and online classes.
Curriculum
The Pepperdine University part-time MBA curriculum consists of 52 semester units of coursework. Forty units of the program consist of core courses, including: Personal Leadership and Development Workshop; Behavior in Organizations; Quantitative Analysis for Business Operations; Accounting Information and Control Systems; Prices, Profit, and the Market Economy; Financial Management of the Firm, Marketing Management; Information and Process Systems; Integration in Business Operations; Political, Regulatory, Ethical, and Legal Issues of Business; Strategic Management; Integrations in Business Operations: Strategic Management.
Pepperdine University part-time MBA students are encouraged to choose a major area of concentration and take 12 units of electives in this area. Areas of concentration include: Digital Innovation and, Information Systems, Dispute Resolution, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Global Business, Leadership and Managing Organizational Change, and Marketing.
Part-time MBA students can choose any of the following paths to complete their global business requirement (a minimum of two units): A one-week Global Business Intensive Course hosted by Graziadio’s international partner schools; one trimester of study abroad at a global partner business school; summer school course work at a global partner business school; a week-long residential Global Business Intensive Course taught at Pepperdine by a professor from a global partner business school; Going Global with Graziadio (G3) project; a Global Business Directed Studies project; and any course listed under the global business concentration.

There are three main types of financial aid: Federal Direct Stafford loans, the Federal Direct Graduate PLUS loan, and Alternative Educational Loans.
Admissions
Applicants to the part-time MBA program must have a four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent. The part-time program requires that students of a minimum of two years in the work force before applying.
To apply to the part-time MBA program, applicants must submit a completed application form, all college transcripts from degree-granting and non-degree-granting institutions, and a current résumé. International students must also submit a TOEFL, PTE, or IELTS score. The school also requires applicants to complete one essay about their leadership experiences and goals; applicants may also submit an optional essay for any additional information they wish to convey to the Admissions Committee. Graziadio requires prospective students to supply a non-refundable $150 application fee.
