Krannert School of Management – Purdue University - Executive MBA
Purdue University Executive MBA Program Structure
The Purdue University Krannert School of Management offers two distinct Executive MBA programs: a traditional Executive MBA and the IMM Global Executive MBA, both of which last 19 months each and feature 48 credits worth of courses.
The traditional EMBA features class time into six different residencies, each lasting one or two weeks. Among the six, five are held on the Purdue campus, with one taking place at a select international residency. The IMM Global EMBA starts with a five-day launch week in the U.S., with five two-week residencies at the corresponding IMM Global EMBA Program partner schools. Both formats offer online courses in between residencies. However, the IMM Global EMBA program allows students to earn two EMBA’s: one from Purdue University, and the other from the TIAS School for Business and Society at Tilburg University in The Netherlands.
Curriculum
The aforementioned modules feature an eight-to-10 week preparation period before students are expected to appear on campus to complete classes, attend seminars, workshops, and more. The first two modules feature more generalized education, while the third, fourth, and fifth module are structured regarding the specific student’s preferred academic subject material. The sixth module in the standard EMBA takes place at an international location that typically varies from cohort to cohort.
