Yeshiva Master’s in Accounting Program Structure
The Yeshiva Master’s in Accounting will not only help equip you for the exam, but also for all of the professional challenges and opportunities that come after it.
The program can be completed 100% online over 18 months with only one accounting prerequisite required to begin (Ideal for non-business majors).
Students will learn standard accounting software (e.g., R/RStudio and Tableau), master advanced accounting principles (e.g., internal auditing, taxation, and investment banking) and develop an understanding of new trends in FinTech, cryptocurrencies (e.g., Bitcoin and Ethereum), and NFTs—and what they mean for the future.
The Curriculum for the Yeshiva Master’s in Accounting Program
The program is 30 credits long and courses are offered over 7-week mini-terms across three 14-week terms per year. Within the 10 courses to complete the program, there are 2 elective courses. Each course is 7 weeks in length and the program can be completed in as little as 18 months.
This program qualifies as a New York State CPA Licensure Qualifying Registered Program which contributes to the 150 credit hour requirement to earn the CPA license in most states.
Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
The current cost of the Yeshiva Master’s in Accounting program is $1,563 per credit hour, with a total tuition cost of $46,890.
Financial Aid can come in the form of scholarships or loans. The Office of Student Finance offers a robust list of aid opportunities for students.
Admissions
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or another business discipline from an accredited college or university is required to apply. Students must also submit the following to be considered for the program:
- Application
- Resume/CV
- GMAT or GRE Exam*
- Official transcripts for all college-level coursework (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA – Candidates with a cumulative GPA lower than 3.0 are still encouraged to speak to an admissions advisor and apply)
- One Letter of Recommendation
- Personal Statement Essay
- International applicants may need to submit a language exam
*The GMAT/GRE requirement is currently waived for all applicants due to COVID-19.
No work experience is required for applicants to this program.
There is a $50 application fee.
