Florida State University College of Business - Online MBA
Florida State College of Business Online MBA Program Structure
The Florida State College of Business offers two distinct versions of its part-time Online MBA program: a traditional, 39-credit model; and an Online MBA with a real estate specialization.
The broad structure of each Online MBA variation is similar to the Evening part-time MBA program, with 27 classes of core credits and 12 classes of electives—nine of which are required for the select, specific specialization of the student’s choosing.
Curriculum
The 27-credits of core courses consist of the following courses:
• Financial Reporting and Managerial Control
• The Legal & Ethical Environment of Business
• Problems in Financial Management
• Information & Technology Management
• Marketing Strategy in the Global Environment
• Organizational Behavior
• Operations Management
• Business Conditions Analysis
• Strategy and Business Policy
Students in the standard part-time Online MBA program can choose among the following specializations, per the discretion of the MBA program director: business analytics; management information systems; marketing; real estate; and risk management and insurance. Those in the Online MBA with Real Estate Specialization take the same core courses, but with more required real-estate centric electives. Students then select a final elective course (3 credit hours) from options available during their time in the program.
