University of Washington Foster Master of Business Analytics Program Structure
The University of Washington Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program at Foster School of Business takes just 12 months to complete. Students take a full-time credit load in the evenings and on occasional weekends. Courses take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and approximately every other Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The accelerated degree program has one intake each year; with the program beginning in summer quarter.
Curriculum
The Master of Science in Business Analytics curriculum blends technical skills, such as R and SQL, analytic frameworks for interpreting data, and business acumen for translating insights into actions. From marketing, operations and strategy to programming, modelling, and machine learning, this is an integrated, comprehensive curriculum for data-driven decision making.
In just 12 months, students will take 45 credits, learn from experts in the field, and gain real-world experience in business analytics. During the final quarter, students gain hands-on practical experience through an industry project.

The Foster MSBA Program enrolls 30 students, who bring an average of 4 years of work experience, an average GPA of 3.4 and average GMAT of 661. Nearly a third — 29% — of students are international. The average age is 27 and 56% of students are male and 44% female.
Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
The tuition cost for the Foster Master of Business Analytics for the 12-month program is $41,400 for Washington residents and $52,400 for non-residents.

Applicants to the Foster MSBA Program must submit a completed application with the following items:
