University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA Program Structure

The University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA Program at Henley Business School takes place part-time over the course of 30 months. Optional workshops also take place every other month.

Curriculum

The University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA is a part-time program conducted through a mix of face-to-face workshops, activities involving team and peer group learning, and independent study both online and offline.

The first term is comprised of Managing Processes and Systems, Managing Financial Resources, and Managing People. Courses in the second term are Strategy, International Business, Strategic Marketing, and Reputation & Responsibility. Reputation & Responsibility may include an International Study Visit. The final term consists of Leadership & Change, a Management Research Challenge-which is a choice between a dissertation and an integrated business project-and a choice between an Elective and an International Study Visit. Each stage also includes a personal development module.

The University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA program’s tuition is £25,500 ($31,127 USD) for the September 2019 intake. This does not include the optional international trips. Admissions

To be admitted to Henley Business School’s Flexible EMBA, students are required to have three years of management experience, an advanced degree, competence in English, and access to company data for assignments.

Henley also welcomes applicants with exceptional management experience (a minimum of five years’ experience at a senior or strategic level) who may not meet all the formal criteria for admission, such as an undergraduate degree.
