Jack Welch College of Business MBA Structure
The Sacred Heart University Jack Welch College of Business MBA consists of 36 credit hours of graduate coursework. Those not waived from the foundational coursework will need up to nine additional credit hours.
Curriculum
The 36 credit program can be completed in just one year for full-time students and two years for part-time MBAs. Full-time students complete 12 credits in the fall, winter, and spring semesters, respectively. However, full-time students can also take additional classes in the summer semester. Part-time students typically complete six credits worth of classes per semester, taking all core courses within the first fall, winter, and spring semesters. However, unlike the full-time program, students can adjust their schedules, offering unique flexibility for professionals working during their schooling.
Students in the MBA program can pursue concentrations in:

- Healthcare
- Business Analytics
- Finance
- Human Resources and Management
- Digital Marketing
Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
The current tuition of the Jack Welch College of Business MBA program is $985 per credit. In total, the 36-credit program adds up to $35,460.
Select active military members and veterans may be eligible for the GI Bill/Yellow Ribbon Program to help earn additional funding for their education.
Admissions
Applicants to the Jack Welch College of Business MBA program must provide: a résumé; two letters of recommendation; a personal statement; official transcripts from previously attended undergraduate institutions; and a non-refundable $75 application fee. Applicants must have maintained an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 in order to be eligible for the graduate school program.
