Santa Clara University Online Masters of Marketing Program Structure

The Santa Clara Leavey School of Business Online Masters of Marketing Program is designed to accommodate and anticipate ongoing innovation change in the 21st-century marketing environment.

• Course delivery: Online with one on-campus residency weekend

Integrated courses cover the business fundamentals in a cohort format. There are two intakes per year, with classes beginning in the fall and spring.

Curriculum

The Online Masters of Science in Marketing program has been designed in the heart of Silicon Valley to help you grow into a visionary leader conversant in the burgeoning field of marketing technology, or “MarTech.” MarTech describes the applications, interfaces, and tracking technologies that leading-edge marketing organizations use to operate with agility and solve the impossible-seeming marketing problems that arise in the contemporary digital world.

The Santa Clara University Online Masters of Marketing program requires the completion of 36 quarter units of coursework. Courses in the Marketing core are comprised of 12 units, the Business Foundations is six units, and Electives consist of 18 units.

Electives

A variety of courses are offered to expand your skill set in marketing. You must choose up to eighteen (18) units electives.

Sample of the electives offered: Social Media Marketing, Tech Marketing: Winning Strategies for Effective Messaging, Brand Management, Fundamentals of B2B Account-Based Marketing, Programmatic Advertising, Marketing in the Age of Digital Transformation, Sales Management, Product Innovation, E-commerce: Challenges and Opportunities, Distribution Channels, Digital Advertising.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid

Tuition for the Santa Clara University Online Marketing program costs $1,113 per unit, with students completing a minimum of 36 units for the program. Most student loans are based on either financial need or creditworthiness and are available only to US citizens and permanent residents. Applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships during the admissions process. Scholarship recipients are awarded at the time of admission. Scholarships awarded are conditioned upon a cumulative 3.0 GPA throughout the first academic year of enrollment.

Admissions

Applicants to the Santa Clara University Online Marketing program must have completed a Baccalaureate degree or recognized qualifications equivalent to a degree. To apply to the Online Marketing program, applicants must submit a completed application form, official transcripts from each institution attended (domestic degrees) or WES course-by-course (international degrees), personal statement, current résumé, and two letters of recommendation. Official GMAT scores or GRE scores (waiver available) must also be sent in by applicants, along with a $148 application fee. International students from non-native English-speaking countries must provide a recent TOEFL score in order to prove English fluency.
