Texas A&M Full-Time MBA Program Structure
Students participate in a full schedule of classes Monday through Thursday with classes and/or events on occasional Fridays. The Texas A&M full-time MBA program curriculum is completed in 18 months. New programs begin each fall. Courses are held over three 10-week terms and one five-week term in first year; one 15-week semester happens in the second year.
Curriculum
Students in the Texas A&M full-time MBA program complete 49 credit hours over the 18-month curriculum. The first year is divided into three 10-week terms and one five-week term, which allows students to have completed 50 percent more coursework before their summer internship than most two-year MBA programs. No classes are necessary during the summer months.
Students will complete a specialization as part of their degree. They can choose from a specialization in finance, marketing, healthcare, entrepreneurship, data analytics, or supply chain and operations. Students also have the option to extend their education past the 18-month program and participate in a certificate program to further specialize their education to meet career objectives. Certificate programs include: public health, health systems management, entrepreneurship and technology commercialization, international business, supply chain management, and advanced international affairs.
Class Profile
There are 86 students in the most recent Texas A&M full-time MBA class. Seventy-two percent of students in the class were men and 28 percent women. Students in this class had an average GMAT range (middle 80%) of 560-700 and an average GPA range (middle 80%) of 2.67-3.84. Students had an average (middle 80%) of 1.8-8 years of professional work experience.
Career Statistics
MBA graduates have a high rate of job placement. About 90 percent of graduates secure employment within three months of graduation, with an average starting salary of more than $113,000.
Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
The estimated cost for the first year of the Texas A&M University full-time MBA program, including tuition and fees is $61,629 for in-state residents and $87,323 for out of state residents
The Mays Business School accepts federal loans, personal loans, veteran’s education benefits, and federal financial aid.
Admissions
Admission requirements include having two years of work experience, including management experience, high GRE or GMAT scores, bachelor’s degree, competitive academic record, and the completion of an interview.
Applicants must submit the following for admission:
- Online application
- Official GMAT/GRE score
- Scanned copies of transcripts from each senior-level post-secondary institution attended for review process.
- TOEFL or IELTS score and any required immigration documents for international applicants. Students that take the TOEFL must earn a score of at least 600 on the paper test or 250 for the online test. Those opting to take the IELTS must score a minimum of 7.
