Cal State Fullerton Flex MBA Program Structure
The Cal State Fullerton Flex MBA at Mihaylo College of Business’ basic curriculum consists of 42 units of coursework: 21 units of core coursework, 18 units of concentration courses and three units of the MBA capstone course. Students may participate in the MBA program either full-time or part-time, which can be taken between 24 and 36 months.
Curriculum
Part-time students may take one or two courses per semester and graduate in two and half years. Full-time students can usually complete the program in less than two years, even if they don’t have an undergraduate degree in business.
Foundational courses at Mihaylo emphasize conceptual, analytical, technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Mihaylo’s concentration/elective courses allow students to focus on one of 12 concentrations: general, accounting, management, business analytics, entrepreneurship, finance, information systems, management, marketing, supply chain management, organizational leadership or risk management and insurance.
Cal State Fullerton Flex MBA students also complete one capstone course wherein teams complete a consulting project with a local business.

Students enrolling in the Flexible MBA program are recommended to have a minimum of three years of professional work experience, although many applicants typically have more. Each Mihaylo MBA cohort usually features around 25 students.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
California residents pay approximately $35,000 ($270 per unit) while non-California residents pay about $51,480 ($396 per unit). Mihaylo graduate students may apply for any of a number of scholarship and financial aid packages. The Michael A. Reagan Scholarship, for example, is a merit-based scholarship available to newly enrolled Mihaylo graduate students — it awards $8,000 in two installments.

Admissions
Prospective Cal State Fullerton MBA students must have an undergraduate degree before applying for admission.
Cal State Fullerton MBA applicants must submit the standard California State University application along with a departmental application, which consists of a background information sheet, transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended, official and unofficial GMAT or GRE scores and a résumé. Optionally, up to three letters of recommendation may be submitted. Certain applicants with sufficient years of work experience may be eligible for a GMAT/GRE waiver.
International students must also submit TOEFL, IELTS ,or PTE scores, financial affidavits, a copy of their passport and a copy of their I-20 and/or I-94. The minimum scores for international applicants are 570 for the TOEFL, 7 for the IELTS, and 65 for the PTE.
All applicants must submit a $55 application fee.
