Pamplin College of Business – Virginia Tech - Professional MBA
Program Structure
The Virginia Tech Professional MBA is a 24-month program during which students attend classes one weekend a month, rotating between the Virginia Tech centers in Richmond and Roanoke.
The monthly weekend classes are held all day Friday and Saturday. Outside of the monthly in-person class meetings, there is a distance learning component for out-of-class content that is dependent on professor preference. Examples include online discussion forums, simulations, group collaboration, Skype presentations, and one-way delivery of presentations.
Curriculum
The Virginia Tech Professional MBA curriculum focuses on the core management concepts of leadership, finance, and marketing with an emphasis on global business, business analytics, innovation and strategy. The program’s hybrid format blends 60 percent in-class and 40 percent online instruction. Students work in teams and learn through a combination of case studies and project-based experiential learning.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
Tuition for the Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business Professional MBA is $42,500 for in-state students and $63,180 for out-of-state students.
The Professional MBA program offers merit-based scholarships (ranging from $1,000 – $2,500) based on academic and professional accomplishments.
