Georgia State University Flex MBA Program Structure

The Georgia State University MBA program at the Robinson College of Business can be completed on a full- or part-time basis within four to six semesters, depending on course load. Students can choose a STEM-designated major in business analysis or a major in business administration. The program is customizable based on students’ industry and goals. Students can pursue an interdisciplinary career pathway that will ground them in business and equip them with up-to-the-minute tech skills. They also can opt for a concentration in 18 sectors like finance, health administration, marketing, or risk, to name a few. All students complete an immersive project in close collaboration with a corporate partner, such as Blackstone, Equifax, Mercedes-Benz USA, or Norfolk Southern.

Curriculum

The curriculum comprises four cornerstone core courses (Managing in the Global Economy, Financial Statement Analysis, Legal Environment: Ethics and Corporate Governance, and Data Driven Decision Making), five functional core courses (Digital Innovation, Corporate Finance, Marketing Management, Operations Management, and Leadership and Organizational Behavior), a capstone course in global competitive strategy, and four classes based on concentration/major.

On average, incoming fall 2023 students were 30 years old with 4.6 years of work experience. They were 50% male and 50% female. Sixty-eight percent of them hailed from the United States, and 32 percent were international.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid

Robinson offers graduate assistantships (GAs) to qualified candidates.

Students also can apply for scholarships offered through the Robinson College of Business and Georgia State.

Admissions

Work experience is preferred but not required. GMAT or GRE scores aren’t required but could strengthen a candidate’s consideration for scholarships. No specific undergraduate degree is required, but students must demonstrate a strong quantitative skillset. Application requirements include an online application, transcripts, an essay, and a personal interview.
