Rohrer College of Business – Rowan University

History

The MBA program at Rowan University is administered by the Rohrer College of Business, which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools in Business International. In 2005, the Rohrer Charitable Foundation contributed a $10 million donation to the school, which renamed its business school in William Rohrer’s honor. It offers several Bachelor of Science degrees in different business fields in addition to its MBA program.

Locations

The Rowan University main campus is located 18 miles southeast of Philadelphia and are easily accessible from the Atlantic City Expressway and New Jersey Turnpike, as well as any of the Delaware bridges. Numerous parking lots are open to Rohrer graduate students at inexpensive prices.

The university is located 25 miles away from the Philadelphia International Airport.

Facilities

MBA classes are held in the Enterprise Center Building on Rowan Boulevard in Glassboro, New Jersey, while the offices of the college are in Bunce Hall on Rowan University’s main campus in Glassboro. The building, named after Rowan University’s second president Dr. Edgar Bunce, is situated on the southern edge of the central campus, facing the University Green.

In 2017, the university completed its brand new 98,290 square-foot four story Rohrer College of Business Building, which serves as the epicenter of the school’s MBA programs.

Faculty

Recent statistics note that Rowan University’s MBA program includes a faculty of 58 professors and instructors and a student-to-faculty ratio of 25 to 1. The Rohrer College of Business faculty use a combination of teaching methods, such as case studies, lectures, team projects, experiential learning and simulations.

Student Body

Rohrer’s MBA program features 100 students, with 26 full-time and 74 part-time. The full-time program features an even 50/50 split of male and female students, while the part-time program features 56.8 percent male students, compared to 43.2 percent female students.

MBA Degree Offerings

In addition to a traditional full-time MBA program, Rowan University offers students a part-time program, and an online option. Students can complete the full-time and part-time MBA programs in a regular or accelerated format and can begin in either the fall or spring semesters.
