Rowan University Full-Time MBA Program Structure
The Rohrer full-time MBA consists of 12 courses, nine of which are required and three of which are electives. The program features 36 semester hours in total, catering to both the full-time students and those with busy work schedules.
Among the required courses are Managerial Accounting, Managing Organizational Strategy, and Marketing Management. Students can choose from a wide variety of electives, such as Strategic Human Resource Management, Business Forecasting, Project Management, and Consumer Analysis.
Curriculum
All students must fulfill Foundation course requirements prior to beginning the Rowan University full-time MBA program. These courses can be completed at a four-year college or community college. Foundation-level requirements include the courses or course equivalents of Financial & Managerial Accounting, Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, Calculus Techniques & Applications, Statistics I, Principles of Marketing, Operations Management, and Principles of Finance.
Students may also pursue a specialization by enrolling in three courses in one of the following six areas: Marketing, Management, Finance, Management Information Systems, Accounting or Supply Chain and Logistical Systems.
Tuition & Financial Aid
For the current academic year, students enrolled in the Rowan University full-time MBA program pay $929.30 per semester hour, with three semester hours per course.
Rowan University does not offer financial aid specifically to MBA students but they can seek financial aid with other undergraduate and graduate students by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to become eligible. Non-U.S. citizens may look into securing private loans.
Admissions Requirements
In order to apply to any of Rowan University’s MBA programs, applicants must have completed a baccalaureate degree or equivalent (with a minimum GPA of 2.5).
To apply to the MBA Program, candidates are required to submit an online application and their GMAT (minimum score: 450) or GRE scores, undergraduate transcripts, current résumé, an essay on their career plans, two letters of recommendation, and a $65 application fee. Rowan will consider GRE results from exams taken within the past five years. The GRE/GMAT requirement may be waived if a student meets certain criteria.
