History
The University of Georgia Terry College of Business was founded in 1912 and is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, earning the distinctive recognition as one of the first business school in the southern United States. The school changed its name officially in 1991 in honor of 1939 alumnus Herman Terry and his wife Mary Virginia. Today, students at Terry may earn six degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration, full-time MBA, Professional MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Accountancy, Master of Business and Technology, Master of Marketing Research, and a Ph.D.

Locations
The Athens campus of the University of Georgia houses the main campus. In 2015, the school opened Correll Hall, the first of a new six-building complex that is the new home of the College of Business. The second phase of the complex opened in 2017 and included Amos Hall Benson Hall, and Moore-Roker Hall. These three buildings house Casey Commons, a 5,000 sq ft gathering area for students and faculty that features two auditoriums, eight classrooms, team rooms, the Benn Capital Markets Lab, and a cafe. The Atlanta campus is located in Buckhead and offers Terry students in the Executive MBA and Professional MBA programs executive-style classrooms, boardrooms, and event space. The campus offers high-speed internet access and the use of audio/visual equipment as well as large special events rooms. The campus is less than 30 minutes away from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The University of Georgia Gwinnett campus, located in the Intellicenter Building off I-85 in Lawrenceville, offers students completing their Professional MBA a state-of-the-art learning environment. Classrooms are equipped with touch control, electronic smart-podiums with ceiling mounted projectors, and complete electronic peripherals. Meeting rooms equipped with video-conferencing capabilities and large gathering rooms are also available along with an electronic library.
The University of Georgia Griffin Campus, approximately 40 miles south of Atlanta, provides students with classrooms, computer labs, offices, common areas and the Griffin Campus Research Library. The Griffin Campus specializes in the school’s Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business.
Facilities
The Athens campus of the University of Georgia houses the main campus. Brooks Hall has been the main building for the UGA business school since 1928. Brooks Hall houses office space for faculty and an auditorium for classes. Sanford Hall also provides office space for Terry College programs as well as high-tech classrooms and an auditorium. The Miller Learning Center is available for students to create an advanced learning environment featuring a library, study space, study rooms, wireless workstations, learning labs and an event space. As well, the university opened Correll Hall, its newest 74,000 square-foot facility, in 2015. The new facility features labs, group project team rooms, and a graduate commons.

Faculty
The University of Georgia Terry College of Business has 147 faculty members who teach courses across nine academic departments: accounting, economics, finance, management, management information systems, marketing, legal studies, real estate and risk management and insurance. Terry faculty strive to make meaningful additions to the study of business as part of being a Doctoral/Research Universities-Extensive institution.
Student Body
The University of Georgia Terry College of Business enrolls 489 students. There are 104 full-time MBA students, 308 Professional MBA students, and 78 Executive MBA students.
