Arthur J. Kania School of Management – University of Scranton
History
The University of Scranton’s online MBA degree is offered by Graduate and Continuing Education Services in collaboration with the Kania School of Management, named for distinguished alumnus Arthur J. Kania ’53, who earned a law degree from Villanova University Law School in 1956. In addition to many other honorary and board positions, Kania is a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Trustee Emeritus of The University of Scranton. The school is housed in The University of Scranton’s most technologically advanced building, Brennan Hall, completed in 2000.
The Kania School of Management is distinguished by being at the forefront of new technologies and developments such as globalization, cross-functional teamwork and e-commerce. Students benefit from an alliance between the Kania School and global software leader SAP to incorporate enterprise resource planning concepts into the curriculum.
