University of Scranton Arthur J. Kania School of Management MBA Program Structure

The University of Scranton MBA at the Arthur J. Kania School of Management can be completed both on-campus and online.

Curriculum

The online MBA offers a Flex* curriculum that requires 36 semester credit hours (exclusive of any foundation modules that are stipulated on your Letter of Acceptance). Currently, you can opt for our General Online MBA, or choose from multiple specializations:

• Accounting
• Business Analytics
• Enterprise Resource Planning
• Finance
• Healthcare Management
• Human Resources Management
• International Business
• Operations Management

The standard MBA is comprised of the cornerstone and capstone courses, seven core courses, and three advanced electives. The Flex* option, on the other hand, allows you to trade up to three of the seven core courses for other advanced electives of your choice. With this option, you can tailor the MBA curriculum to your specific needs or interests while still gaining an in-depth understanding of the core business functions. Note that the MBA degree requires 36 credit hours regardless of whether you choose the standard MBA or the Flex* option.

General MBA students must choose their electives from at least two different functional areas. Students opting for a specialization must choose at least nine credit hours from their concentration area.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid

The current total cost of the University of Scranton MBA at the Arthur J. Kania School of Management is $34,740- $46,320.

Admissions

The following is required in order to apply:

• Online Application
• Professional Resume
• Statement of Intent
• Must have at least three years of professional or supervisory work experience
• Case study*
• Three Letters of Reference
• At least one reference must be from a supervisor or other professional reference

*A written response to a business case study may be required for some applicants. You will be informed of your individual requirement after a review of your completed application.

No entrance examination test scores (GMAT or GRE) are required with an application. In addition, there is no application fee.
